The 28th Military Police Company has served the nation proudly since 1964, with unit members that have been involved in wartime conflicts during Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as multiple peacetime missions in Panama, Italy, Bosnia, Germany, Kosovo, and local disaster responses.
In 2017, the separate Company became part of the 165th MP Battalion.

Saturday, August 8, 2020 the monument was dedicated in Johnstown's Central Park in honor of SSG Keith Bennett, SPC Kirsten Fike, SFC Robert Fike, SFC Bryan Hoover and SFC Dan Lightner

The 28th MP Monument was erected in Johnstown's Central Park on June 24, 2020 and publicly dedicated on August 8, 2020 after over 5 years of planning. Standing next to the monument left to right: SGM Bill Rozier, Mike Mitchell, Ed Siembak, Duane Webb and Gary Menett,. Missing from photo is committee member Ray Vandzura.

​Allan made contact with us and provided an incredible packet of information regarding his time in the service. A native of Clifton Park, NY, Allan passed away on March 6, 2022.
